That's such a pretty necklace! I'd love the fact that you made a tutorial on this, and I'm hoping to use it some day. I love pretty accessories, but they eat at my pockets, and I find that it'd be more fun if it were custom, anyhoo, so thanks for the tutorial!

I don't know about gauge, but I use 0.50mm which is thicker than standard :)

:giggle: i only JUST found this. XD i do mine a bit different... i attach the wires into the collotte (i think they're what you call charlotte crimps; they look like a little clam, or a little bra) on one end, then on the wire with the biggest beads, i'll measure off 2.5 inches and put a crimper, then the bead, then another crimper, then another 2.5 inches... then 2 inches for the middlesized bead and 1.5 for the smallest. ^_^

but your way is cool too. :)
